Course proposal:
Laboratório de Autoria e Cultura Digital is a course focused on transforming
personal interests into authorial digital projects. In a creative journey centered
on the student, each participant chooses a topic of their passion to investigate
and develop. Over the course of the year, students will be able to develop multiple
projects of varying lengths, learning how to organize their ideas and use
various technological tools to create a digital artefact (such as a website, a
video, a game, an animation or an interactive narrative), which will be published in a
personal online portfolio.
The course develops essential skills such as critical thinking,
creativity and digital citizenship. Students learn to research in a safe and ethical way
, to express themselves through multiple languages and to manage their
own projects. The course also introduces literacy in Artificial Intelligence,
teaching students to collaborate with AI in an ethical and creative way to
expand their research and projects, building a repertoire of knowledge
and skills that they will take with them for life.
