Course proposal:

The woodwork course aims to develop manual skills, control of handling specific tools, planning skills, execution and evaluation of projects and creative and flexible thinking. In class, students will work with the transformation of material into a concrete product through project development with steps to be fulfilled and planning to reach the final idealized product.

About the teacher:

Samir Melo has worked in architecture offices, construction, interiors and furniture industry. At the same time, he has Always been involved in educational projects. Currently, he participates in LAB74, a school of design and arts, in the course Joalheria em Madeira e Projeto Básico de Marcenaria (PMB). Among others, he also develops works in scenography for TV, dance spectacles and theatrical plays.
